Enrichment Programs
The MCMAT has designed programs with academic and job-oriented dimensions in
the areas of marketing of agro-products, management of forest resources,
logistics operations, international business and IT operations, management of
service marketing including tourism, banks, insurance, hospitals, hotels and
amusement parks. The students have to opt for one of these programs and complete
a scheduled training and fieldwork over and above the University program through
mentoring. This is planned to offer students opportunities to identify their
field of interest and prepare for their future endeavors.
Academic Advisory Council
The MCMAT has introduced a Mentor Program in the campus to benefit its
students by offering opportunities for each student to have close interaction
with eminent and experienced managers/administrators on a regular basis. This is
expected to provide great opportunities of skill development and potential for
professional growth of the individual students. The students have to be with the
Mentor for a scheduled number of hours and work on assignments provided by
him/her.
List of Key Mentors
We believe that textbook knowledge is not all that a student of management
should rely on. To be successful managers students have to be exposed to real
world problems and practices so that they are well prepared for the future. Many
top executives and eminent personalities from the corporate world are being
associated with MCMAT.
Professional Advisory Board
The extra curricular activities at MCMAT are for improvement of the
communication and presentation skills of the students. Seminars/Competitions at
institution and inter-institution levels are arranged periodically. Group
discussions, quiz and other tests are systematically conducted and students are
equipped to face tests and other selection procedures by job providers. Nature
Action Groups and Adventure Club activities are planned for the students.
The emphasis of training and development offered in MCMAT is focused towards
grooming future managers with social commitment based on a sound value system.
