First Graduation Ceremony and Convocation

MCMAT is now for another major milestone. The First Graduation Ceremony and the Convocation of the college will be held on Tuesday, 18th November, 2008. His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan, Manager of MCMAT and President of MTEA will give the blessings. Prof. K. Babu Joseph, former Vice Chancellor of the Cochin University of Science and Technology will deliver the Convocation address.  Details.

Inauguration of the MCMAT Alumni Association

The MCMAT alumni association will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 as part of the first graduation ceremony and convocation. The first alumni meeting will see the establishment of the first Endowment Scholarship Fund to be contributed by the first set of alumni through the proceeds of Fratres 2007.

Inauguration of MCMAT Live! Forum

MCMAT Live! Electronic Forum will be inaugurated on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 as part of the first graduation ceremony and inauguration of the alumni association. MCMAT Live! is a forum designed to bring together the various stakeholders of the college, alumni, current students, faculty, staff, and friends of the college. It will provide ample opportunities for interactions as well as keeping everyone informed about what is happening in the college on a timely basis. But it is much more. We will publish scholarly articles 9as in Harvard Business Review) by faculty and students after careful screening. We will provide opportunities for networking and mentoring. We will provide an opportunity for everyone concerned to improve business communication skills, a very important prerequisite for success in today's business world. The forum is professionally moderated and the membership is free but will be strictly limited to alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the college.

MCMAT Live! Forum

Your success in the business world depends to a great extend on your ability to communicate effectively and your awareness of the environmental factors as to how that will impact your business. In this day of global economy, a news from a remote part of the world may affect you. We hope to help you in all these.

We will post timely articles of interest or links to articles. We will post stories of our alumni and our college. We will provide a forum where the current students can communicate with alumni and friends. Alumni will be kept informed about what is happening in the college.

We also hope to provide a place for the alumni, current students, and faculty to "meet" and network electronically as well as to provide some mentoring opportunities.

This forum is moderated. It is only open to alumni, students, faculty, administration and friends of the MCMAT.

Our First MBA Batch Started in July 2006

The Orientation for the MBA students began on Monday, 17 July, 2006. Leaders for the orientation sessions.

Opening Prayer and Meditation was given by Rev. Johnson Varghese, Chaplain of the College.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Irenaeus Saffragan Metropolitan, Manager of the College and President of the MTEA and Rev. Dr. Johnson P. Mathew, General Secretary of MTEA addressed the staff and students on 25 July, 2006.
