MCMAT was established in 2005 by MTEA as a full-fledged business school. The first MBA batch started in 2006. MCMAT offers MBA program affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, recognized by the Government of Kerala and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The two year MBA program is conducted in four semesters and offers a wide range of specializations. (Our mission and vision)

  MCMAT strives to provide a well-rounded education program to its students. In addition to class room training, students are exposed to seminars and workshops on a wide variety of subjects conducted by internationally known leaders. (see our events section for details of recent seminars and workshops). MCMAT students and faculty also participate in activities outside MCMAT. The college also draws on the strengths and expertise of a team of experts in its advisory committees.

Dr. John M Chacko, Corporate Trainer and former Executive of the Johnson and Johnson and L & T and Chairman of the Laurels International School and Educational Institutions at Indore has joined the Governing Council of MCMAT.

Mr. C. Karthikeyan Nair, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax,  Alwaye and Mr. K. C. Joseph Varghese, FCA, Tax Consultant, Cochin were the main speakers in the Budget Talk organized by MCMAT on March 1, 2010.

Prof. Francis Cherunilam, Professor of School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (SMS - CUSAT) and former Professor of IIM-Kozhikode presented a seminar titled, 'Review of the Global Financial situation - International Marketing Scenariao as a post liberalization view' at MCMAT on 9th March, 2010.

We are very happy and humbled to announce that Mr. Jinu Kurian, a member of the first ever batch of MCMAT, secured 3rd rank in the MBA Degree Examination of the Mahatma Gandhi University held in September, 2008. Congratulations Jinu!

MCMAT Live! Forum
MCMAT Live Forum is an electronic discussion group for the alumni, students, faculty, administration and friends of the MCMAT. Our goal is to improve communication between the various stakeholders of the college, discuss current business news and how it affects the overall global economy, discuss areas that can be strengthened at the college, and share current news from the college so the alumni can be kept informed.

We also hope to provide a place for the alumni, current students, and faculty to "meet" and network electronically as well as to provide some mentoring opportunities.
